Exciting news this week as Director, Melissa Maguire CF APMP announced as the 2021 Member Journey and Australia Membership Lead on the APMP ANZ Committee (Association of Proposal Management Professionals Australia and New Zealand).

There’s currently close to 500 APMP members across Australia and New Zealand. I’m looking forward to helping people on their membership journey and welcoming new members into the fold in 2021.

What is APMP?

APMP® is a global network of professionals dedicated to the process of winning business through proposals, bids (tenders), capture, business development and presentations. APMP is a non-profit membership organisation founded in August 1989 and began with 28 charter members. Today, there are nearly 6,400 members and is frequently growing in 27 active chapters worldwide.

The APMP ANZ Chapter was formed in late 2008 and is dedicated to increasing recognition in this region of the value of professional proposal development. The ANZ Chapter is for all proposal professionals in Australia and New Zealand, and also for those in the Asia Pacific region where no local APMP chapter currently exists.

It’s the world’s first and only industry recognised certification program for professionals working in a tender, bid, and proposal environment.

If you are in a role writing tenders, coordinating submissions, managing bids or part of the sales process then a membership and certification would suit you.
